He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Emmett Drewry Sr. and Edith Warren Drewry. He is survived by: his wife Joan Pittman Drewry; his children, Gayle Drewry Simms and Michael Howard Drewry (Amy); his grandchildren, Chris Simms (Jennie), Sara Harsh (Jake), Kristen Drewry, Carla Thompson (Aaron) and David Drewry (Margaret); his great grandchildren, Oliver, Ezra, Tucker, Graham and Demi; and his brothers, James Drewry (Nancy), William Drewry (Rosalie), Emmett Drewry (Lizzie) and Thomas Drewry (Joanne). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Spring Hill Church (6349 Spring Hill Rd, Waverly, VA 23890). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Wakefield Cemetery (205 W Church St, Wakefield, VA 23888).
