We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2021, at the age of 89, Frances Oakley Pennington of Waverly, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Mason Pennington, Jr.; her parents, James B. Oakley and Cora B. Oakley; and her siblings, Violet Lewis, Gladys Winfield, Ethel Harrison, Dot Remorenko, James B. Oakley, Jr. and John W. Oakley.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Pennington Kitchen (Stuart), Sandra Pennington Fisher, Penni Pennington-Miles (Bruce), Kimberly Pennington Spencer (Jim) and David Pennington; her grandchildren, Timothy Stuart Kitchen, Karen Elizabeth Kitchen (Dave Petree), Chad Douglas Fisher (Stephanie), Cary Dustin Fisher, Christopher David Fisher, Dustin Wayne Medders, Aubry Lynn Spencer, Daniel Spencer Shaw (Coco) and Johnny Oliver Spencer; her great grandchildren, Colton James Fisher, Ellie Fisher, Braylynn Medders, Bentley Wayne Medders and Jaxon Lonn Medders; and her sister Gale Titmus (Richard). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
