We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2025, at the age of 67, Ernest M. Graves of Waverly, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma M. Jones and Autorn M. Jones; his aunts, Sarah Osborne, Francis Flowers and Mozelle Graves; and his siblings-in-law, Tanisha Blackwell, Richard Baines, Jr. and Herman Lee Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Jance Graves; his sons, Omar Graves of Prince George, Marcus Graves (Tisha) and Autorn Graves (Felicia) of Williamsburg; his grandchildren, Destiny, Laraya, Amira, Alanii and Kamilla; his siblings, Inez Naverson (Angel) of Raleigh and Boris Michael Blackwell; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Edwards, Tralena Garrett (Larry), Bobby Lynn (Ora Lee) and Curtis Baines (Tovelta); his goddaughter Voyetta Artist (Raymond); his sister JoAnn Blizzard; and his caregiver Sharita Rowland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Liberty Baptist Church (319 Railroad Ave, Waverly, VA 23890).
