We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2021, at the age of 63, Earl David Spradlin of Waverly, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father David Lee Spradlin; and his stepfather Frank Carr. He is survived by: his girlfriend Rose Parker; his mother Sylvia Carr; his children, Christina Heath (Kevin) and Matthew Spradlin (Beth); his grandsons, Colby, Brantley, Logan and Reed; and his sisters, Linda Norris and Elizabeth "Libby" Crawley (Lynn). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many other loving family members.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to dementiasociety.org or alz.org.

“Earl and I worked together during the construction of the Totopotomoy Waste Water plant. Hanover struck gold with the hiring of Earl. He knew the plant inside out, and considered himself and “Honorary Operator”. All that worked with Earl in Hanover can remember the wonderful times that we spent with him. He and Chuck Smith were the best Instrumentation Team that any organization could ask for!! I will miss my buddy Earl. I offer my condolences to his family. Perry Greene”
