Newby (Jeanette) of Carrolton, VA, Wesley L. Newby (Patsy) of Newport News, Adolph C. Newby of Carrolton, VA and Shirley C. Eley (Johnnie); his siblings-in-law, Nancy C. King (Harold) of Waverly, VA and Marvin W. Charity of Hopewell, VA; his godchildren, Destiny Giffen and Minister Samuel Parker (Elizabeth); his friends, Evangelist Ella White, Bishops Garland and Wendy Chambliss; and also, Andrew Harris, Deacon James, Ruth King, Elder Terrence, First Lady Tanisha Green, Ronell and Rose Urquhart. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
