With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Beale Pope of Waverly, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on October 8, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Beale and Ann Seward Beale Cobb. She is survived by: her husband Leverette Early Pope, Jr.; her children, Leverette Early Pope III (Christina), Sarah Anne Pope Garrett (Blake) and Robert Beale Pope (Theckla); her grandchildren, Graham Pope, Makenzie Pope, Hayes Pope, Anne Carter Garrett, Beale Pope II and Theckla Pope; and her siblings, Robert Beale, Carol Ann Layden (Henry) and Robin Scarborough (Tod).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Cancer Care Foundation of Tidewater, Waverly Fire Department, and Waverly United Methodist Church.
