She was predeceased by: her parents, Ophelia Harris Leonard and Josephus Leonard; her former husband David Arthur Ray; her sister Elizabeth Marshburn; her grandson David Michael Gwaltney; her great grandchild Alaina Jill O'Laughlin; her close friend Mary Chase Laine; and her friend Anne Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Kitty Michelle Ray Boyd (Paul) of Teresa Gail and Eddie Nelson Ray, Sr.; her grandchildren, Cynthia Jill O'Laughlin, Francis Lucille Boyd (Chris), Hannah Jane Brown and Eddie Nelson Ray, Jr.; her great grandchildren, David Allan O'Laughlin, Anthony James O'Laughlin, Ali, Rayven Monee O'Laughlin-Young, Christopher Lee Davidson, III and Ava Alexis Lucille Davidson; and her close friend Lillian Gibson. She is also survived by dog "Lil Dog"; many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
