Annetta Seward Bailey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annetta Seward Bailey of Waverly, Virginia, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Garland Seward and Annie Mae Owens Seward; her husband Archur Louis; her son Bailey; her sister Rebecca Seward Murphy; and her pet Rudee.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki K. Parker (Chris) and Chris King (Velvet); her grandchildren, Shawn Parker (Kimi), Reese Parker (Whitney) and Ann-Garland King; her great grandchild Sawyer Thomas Parker; and her brother Christopher Garland Seward (Mariana). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Moore's Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery (2300 Runnymede Rd, Elberon, VA 23846).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Wakefield United Methodist Church, 205 West Church St., Wakefield, VA 23888. Keep Annetta's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
