He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Brown Sr.; his wife Margie M. Brown; his siblings, Mary Rose Brown and James Brown Sr.; and his great-nephew Loren Anthony Mason Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Alexander S. Jones of Waverly, VA, Albert M. Brown Jr. (Brenda) of Spring Grove, VA, Arlene Brown of Waverly, VA and Shavon L. Brown of Fayetteville, NC; his grandchildren, Shaneka R. Jackson, Quaneka T. Jackson, Shakyrah N. Johnson, Amanda R. Jones, Kaysahn L. Brown and Shaquan L. Brown "Meathead"; his brother Waverly Brown Jr. of Waverly, VA; and his nieces and nephews, Barbara J. Brown, Georgette L. Brown, James Brown Jr. Kenneth Brown, Travis D. Brown and Benjamin L. Brown. He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
