He was predeceased by: his son Sean; his parents, John and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Jack, Margaret, Betty Keegan, Joan Hutchison and Patsy McGovern.
He is survived by: his wife Marybeth; his daughter Brigid Gaine Dutcher; his son-in-law Derek Dutcher; his sisters, Virginia Gaine and Maureen McGowan; and his cousins, Steven and Paddy. He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews.
