He is survived by: his children, Tazwell Jacob and Kristin Brooke Kirby; his parents, Andrew Stevan Kirby (Patricia) of Water View and Alice Mae Gresham Kirby; his sisters, Donna Kirby Garnett (Nathan) and Catherine Kirby Cameron of Urbanna; his nephew Nathan Coleman Garnett (Cole) of Water View; his nieces, Amanda Kate Garnett Taylor (Ronnie) of Glen Allen and Amelia Christian Garnett Taylor; his husband Wayne of Church View; his great-nieces, Isabella Marie and Aubrey Mae Taylor; and his great-nephew Nathan Bennett Taylor.
