She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Bill Baker, Dolly Baker, Landis Bates and Mary Bates; her parents, Tom Bates and Ruth Bates; her daughter Candace Brooke Shelton; her nephew Jacob Bentley; and her cousins, Rocky Hopkins, Bobbi Joe Lawson, Brett Cantrell and Brian Cantrell.
She is survived by: her daughter Amanda "Mandy" Love (Chris); her grandchildren, Gracie, Jordyn of Coeburn, VA, Lori Bowen (Danny), Alena, Andrew, Zoe and Chloe of Wise, VA; her son Aaron Fullen; her friend Charisma; her siblings, Doug Bates (Tammy) of Pikeville, KY and Mary Beth Bentley (Jerry) of Pound, VA; and her close friend Beth. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
