He was predeceased by: his father Erroll Maggard; his brother David Maggard; his grandparents, Roy, Lois Maggard, Cecil and Vada Barrick; and his nephew Christopher Maggard.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Maggard; his daughter Andrea Maggard Jarrells (Randy); his stepsons, Rick Phillips (Tina) and Scott Phillips; his mother Margaret Maggard; his siblings, Clif Maggard (Vicky) and Debbie Gustafson (Gary); his grandsons, Owen and Will Jarrells; his stepgrandchildren, Kristin Phillips and Ricky Phillips; and his stepgreat-grandson KJ Fines. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to UVA Cancer Center in Charlottesville, VA or American Diabetes Association.
