He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Claire Niessen; and his brother Robert Lee Kerby. He is survived by: his son Mike Jr.; his daughter-in-law Jill; his daughter Kathy; his son-in-law Tom; his son Kevin; his daughter-in-law Lisa; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Michael III, Claire, Ryan and Hannah.
