He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Cheney and Carrie Cheney; his former wife Dorothy Hunting; and his daughter Marsha. He is survived by: his wife Joan Hill; his children, Denice Bloxham (Tim), Craig Cheney (Gail), Lloyd Cheney (Karen), Jeffrey Hill (Nicole), ValRee Lowe (Darin) and Susan Johnsson (Ryan); and his brother Wayne Cheney. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
