We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2020, at the age of 59, Lammot Dupont Copeland III (Washington, Virginia), born in San Francisco, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lammot, Pont Copeland, Pamela Cunningham Copeland, Mary Burke Lovering and Charles Taylor Lovering.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Z. Stevens Copeland; his children, George, Henry and Catherine; his stepchildren, Calliope, Michael, Evangeline, Stella and Sam Zarpas; his parents, Pont Copeland Jr. and Deborah Lovering Copeland; and his siblings, Leelee Panno, Charlie Copeland, Carolyn Mauk and Sandy Macchiarulo. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Teton Valley Ranch Camp (https: //http://www.tvrcamp.org) where Chip was a camper for four summers, and a camp counselor for another summer. Any donation will help share Chip's love of the mountains and the outdoors with those who wouldn't have otherwise had the opportunity to dwell in God's majesty.
