He is survived by: his parent Mildred Laffoon Newman; his wife Ann Newman of Abingdon, VA; his children, Michael Newman of Hanover, PA, Michael Roark of Abingdon, VA, Jennifer Newman of Boston, MA and Donna Arnold of Meadowview, VA.; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Newman, Ben Newman, Tyler Newman, Chelsey Feeny, Derek Arnold and Seth Roark.
