She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryan Scott and Mary Scott; her husband Lewis Cosby Snead; and her son Michael Lewis Snead. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jewel "Punky" Raines, Lewis Cosby Snead and Bryan Scott Snead; her sisters, Luedell Scott Bailey of Abingdon, Virginia. and Patricia Scott Moore of Abingdon, Virginia.; her close friend Lydia Brtan; and her friends, Sharon Musick and Mike Stevens. She is also survived by three nephews and several great nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, Gladys requests donations be made to the Benevolence Fund at Blackwell Chapel UMC, which she first attended as a child and then later returned to for the past several years.
