It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garnett Lee Hearl formerly of Washington, Virginia, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Daniel and Clara Amanda Pippin Hearl; his grandson Kevin Wright; his great grandchildren, Noah Huggett, Shane Sage and Parker Huggett; and his siblings, Lillian, Dora, Paul, Pansy, Frank and Fred.
He is survived by: his children, Nelson Hearl (Debbie), Sandra Lauri (Gene), Diane Fiehler (Jan), Robin Olson (Dave), Richard Hearl (Robbin) and Cindy Sutherland (Greg). He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
