He was predeceased by: his father Oakley Hay; and his siblings, Helen Fields (Ed), Stella Fields (Dean) and James Hay (Virginia) of Abingdon, Virginia.. He is survived by: his wife Annette Akers Hay of Abingdon, Virginia; and his children, Debbie Mullins (Ed) of Abingdon, Karen Gobble of Meadowview, Virginia and Allen Hay (Brandi) of Abingdon, Virginia. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
