With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eliot Levinson (Washington, Virginia), born in Brookline, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 5, 2019 at the age of 77. He is survived by: his wife Bryna Brennan; and his sons, Andrew T. Levinson (Stephanie Avila) and Jesse Levinson (Emanuelle). He is also survived by five grandchildren.

“I do not remember just when I met Eliot, but it was sometime in the nineties and after he and Bryna had married. I loved talking to Eliot. He knew so much and his broad knowledge enlightened every conversation. Eliot held clear opinions, but his gentle, respectful manner kept disagreements from becoming arguments. I have been meaning to be in touch for months. Trivial matters intervened and now Eliot is gone. I grieve for you, Bryna, and for the conversations I failed to have with Eliot.”
