He is survived by: his wife Zenobia Williams; his children, Patrina Walker (Gregory) of Williamsburg, Virginia, Tony Williams (Sharron) of Portsmouth and Kevin Williams (Katrina) of Ahoskie; his stepdaughters, Adrienne Montalvo (Pedro) of Wilmington, Andrea Goodwyn of Windsor and Tonya Lane of Franklin, Virginia; his goddaughter Akeyla Ruffin of North Carolina; his siblings, Sherry Smith (Nathan) of Carrollton, Mary Byrd (Willie) of Tacoma, Washington, Herman Williams of Franklin and Clarence Williams (Helen) of Hampton, Virginia; his uncle Wedge Williams of Franklin; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Bynum of Portsmouth, Carolyn Claiborne of Atlanta, Georgia and James "Steve" Barnes (Cynthia) of Northern Virginia; and his brothers, Hilmer Williams Jr. and Ernest Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
