He was predeceased by: his parents, Esley Abee and Annie Shook Abee. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Mooney Abee; his daughter Donna Adams (Tony); his grandchildren, Don Hartung, Leah Kennedy (Josh) and Nathan Adams (Melissa); and his great grandchildren, Angela Hartung, Charlie, Lydia Kennedy, Brantley, Preston and Averly Adams.

Memorial donations may be made to the Gideons International West or Temple Baptist Church.
