He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawson Shortridge and Elzie Shortridge; and his brothers, Curtis and Roger Shortridge. He is survived by: his wife Connie Sue Shortridge; his son Brian Shortridge; his grandson David Shortridge of Meadowview, Virginia; and his siblings, Cathy Ball (J. B.), Donald Shortridge (Gracie) of Dickenson County, Virginia. and Terry Shortridge (Linda) of Dickenson County, Virginia.. He is also survived by son and a grandson, many family members, and many friends.
The family ask that anyone attending the service to wear a mask and practice social distancing during the visitation and chapel service.
