He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Grant and Nona Elam Grant; his daughter Hope Sybert; and his brother Kenneth Grant. He is survived by: his wife Vanema Joyce Barker; his grandson-in-law Lester Sybert; his granddaughters, Diane Sybert and Sharleen Sybert; his great grandchildren, Brianna Hicks and Braydon Hewlett; and his sisters, Janice "Ruth" Sproles and June Hagy.
