She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Byars and Clara Byars; her husband Marvin McConnell; her child Lynn McConnell; her brother Billy Bob Byars (Violet); her nephews, Robert Byars and Kelly Byars; and her son-in-law David Canter.
She is survived by: her children, Julian McConnell (Tammy), Danny McConnell (Judy), Suzanne Canter, Euna Smeltzer (Dale) and Sylvia Keller (Walter); and her sister Patsy Buchanan (Bucky). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; also, several nieces and nephews.
