It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Moritz (Washington, Virginia), who passed away on October 17, 2018, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Evelyn, Hortense, Jerome and Henrietta; and his wife Muriel Fisher Moritz.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Moritz (Heather Cowan Moritz) of Tory Hill, Ontario and Claire Moritz (Daniel Addison) of Chapel Hill; his grandchildren, Arielle Moritz Poe (Matthew Poe) and Ryan Moritz (Jaffer Kolb) of Brooklyn; his nieces, Ann Heiles (Bill Heiles) of Urbana, Illinois and Lisa Robinson of Peabody, Massachusetts; and his nephew Eric West (Linda Rath) of Naples, Florida.
