He was predeceased by: his parents, Berlie and Marie. He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Scott; his wife Myrtle Lee; his child Mary Scott Coffey (David); his sister Betty Battaile; his grandchildren, Benjamin Garrett and Erin Yvonne Coffey; his nieces, Catharine Dean, Michelle Thurston and Anne Garner; and his nephew Garrett Dean.
