It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Eugene Bowen (Warsaw, Virginia), who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Garrison Bowen and Elsie Marks Bowen; and his sister McClain "Clany" Frew. He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Bowen Grogan (David) of Savoy, IL and Kimberly Bowen Dungan of Glen Allen, VA; his brothers, Rev. Donald Bowen (Linda) and Rev. Willard Bowen (Marian); and his grandchildren, Devin Dungan, Madison Dungan, Erin Grogan, Chelsea Grogan and Ethan Grogan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
