She is survived by: her spouse George Thomas Guthrie; her children, Steven C. Effinger of Richmond, Suzanne M. Bowles of Reedville and Juanita A. Haynie (Sutton) of Wicomico Church; her siblings, George W. Effinger III, Cecelia Weidemann and Patricia Ann Buscher; her grandchildren, Jason Haynie, Olivia Hurd, Mindy Nolen, Shanna Bowles, Linda Lowery, Randi Jewell, Arthur Bowles, Jr., Richard C. Roberts-Effinger and Jeffery P. Roberts-Effinger; and her great grandchildren, Brianna Hurd, Madison Hurd, Olaf Ryan Hurd, Jr., Jacob Stevens, Alex Gough, Bailey Gough, James Lowery, Victoria Lowery, Daniel Lowery, Thomas Lee Nolen, Allison Jewell, Andrew Jewell, Serenity Faith Hickman, Melody Anne Haynie and Matthew Lawrence Haynie.
