She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Willard" Smith and Mary Lou Reamy Smith; her husband Jackie Wilson; and her sister Diane Akers. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Wilson, Sandra Wilson, Christina Moses (Michael) and Christopher Akers; her siblings, James W. Smith (Tracy) and Nancy Veney (Dan); her grandchildren, Cailey, Zander and Sevrin; and her nieces and nephews, Abigail Smith, Zachary Smith, Jaclyn Veney, Justin Veney, Chandler Lassiter, Owen Gordon, Jackson Veney and Aubrey Veney.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Menokin Baptist Church (4459 Menokin Rd, Warsaw, VA 22572). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Menokin Baptist Church General Fund.
