She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayland Sydnor Lewis and Susan Anne Fones Lewis; her husband Ennis Newsome; her son John L. Newsome; and her grandson Charles "Chuck" Newsome.
She is survived by: her son Charles E. Newsome (Frances) of Callao; her daughter-in-law Jean Newsome; her grandchildren, John Newsome (Debbie), Crystal Thomas (Ted), Robbie Newsome (Jessica) and Diana Rock (Ron); and her great grandchildren, Haley, Hunter, Britney, Cassie, Taylor, Brayden, Kelsey, Reagan, Ronnie and John Owen.
