She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Smith Sanders and Lola Irene Williams Sanders; her husband Gilbert Wayne Self; her son Bradley W. Self, Sr.; and her siblings, Norris Sanders, Gladys Brown, Josephine Franklin, Talmadge Sanders and Kermit Sanders.
She is survived by: her daughter Darlene Self Pierson; her grandchildren, Heath L. Pierson (Emily), Derek W. Pierson (Gwen), Kyle G. Pierson (Jen) and Bradley "B. J." W. Self, Jr. (Kayla); her great grandchildren, Hunter Pierson, Jessa Pierson, Tyson Pierson, Travis Pierson, Gage Pierson, Holt Pierson, Cash Self and Evelyn Self; her siblings, Jimmy Sanders (Carolyn) and Lucy Mothershead (Stanley); and her daughter-in-law Patty Self. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
