With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Thorn of Warsaw, Virginia, born in Brooklyn, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 25, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorraine Thorn and James Thorn; and his wife Dianne Elizabeth Nunnally Thorn. He is survived by: his close friend Larry; his children, Kem Thorn and Jamie Thorn (Faith); his grandchildren, Jake Martin, Justin Thorn (Sarah), Alivia Sorah (Clay) and Erin Nelligan (Ryan); his great grandchild Ashlee Martin; and his siblings-in-law, Raleigh Nunnally (Janice), Cheryl Nunnally (Fred Holshouser) and Becki Patterson (Chuck). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
