With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eleanor C. Dawson of Warsaw, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eleanor left this world on January 16, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George William Croxton and Violet Rose Harrison Croxton; her husband Dickie; and her siblings, Addie Belle, Warren and Billy.
She is survived by: her son Kevin D. Dawson (Donna); her grandchildren, Brian D. Dawson (Gabrielle), Haley Dawson Deihl (Joel) and Kelsey Dawson; her great grandchildren, Henry Deihl and Harrison Deihl; her sisters, Helen Brann and Waverly Burruss; and her caregiver Sonya Douglas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Totuskey Baptist Church (637 Totuskey Church Rd, Warsaw, VA 22572). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to either Totuskey Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 100, Haynesville, VA 22472 or to the Richmond County Rescue Squad, 152 Community Park Drive, Warsaw, VA 22572.
