He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Owens and Carl Stewart; and his siblings, Eugene Stewart and Shirley Webb. He is survived by: his wife Judy Irene Stewart; his children, Ruby Griffin (John), Charla Hillyard (Chris), Charles Stewart, Jr. (Brenda) and Robert Stewart; his grandchildren, Michael Semiklose, Christophor Hillyard, II, Robert Mullens, Charles Stewart, III, Allison Medina, Chyanne Dion-Hillyard, Robert Stewart, Jr., Heather Johnson, Crystal Mayhew and Samantha Stewart; his siblings, Rhonda Stewart Aavang (Wayne) and Dennis Stewart (Lauri); his nieces, Penny Merryman (Dennis) and Joyce Robey (David); and his nephew Jeffery Webb. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
