She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Carson (Kit); her parents, Catherine Teague and Thomas Cover; and her siblings, Anne Coleman (Juddy) and Charles Cover (Chuck).
She is survived by: her daughter Anne Barker (Larry); her stepsons, Lance Carson (Kathy) and Andy Carson (Ruth); her grandchildren, Carrie Walston, Catherine McPherson (Zack), Megan Bray (Tyler), Adam Thomas, Noah Thomas, Devon Nicely (Billy), Layne Carson (Shaina), Toby Carson, Madeline Carson and Kayla Carson; and her great grandchildren, Lincoln Walston, Avery Walston, Kennedy McPherson, Shania McPherson, Daniel McPherson, James Bray, Charleston Bray, Thomas Bray, Anthony Nicely, Kaylee Nicely, Kason Carson, Xander Carson and Jasper Carson.
The family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church in lieu of flowers.
