It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Ann Tharp in Warrenton, Virginia, born in Woodville, Virginia, who passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Emma Frances Sisk; and her siblings, Helen Hitt, Virginia Dodson (Ginny), Doris Fincham, Earnest Sisk (Bill), Robert Sisk (Bobby), Ivan Sisk (Reds), Adele Palmer and Doris Reel (PJ).
She is survived by: her husband Charles Lee Tharp Sr.; her sons, Kenneth Leroy Johnson (Roy) and Charles Lee Tharp Jr.; her daughter-in-law Melissa Anne Tharp; and her grandchildren, Catherine Brenna Tharp and Charles Bascom Tharp.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moser Funeral Home, Inc. (233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Peggy's name to the Hospice of Piedmont, American Cancer Society, or your local animal shelter.
