He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Garretson and Helen Garretson (Hollerback); and his brother Fred Garretson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Garretson; his children, Eric Garretson, Jim Garretson, Greg Garretson, Jennifer Garretson, Susie Bender, Matthew Phillips and Richard Phillips; his grandchildren, Jared Young, Amy Sillanpaa, Matthew Bender, Grace Bender, Henry Bender and Benjamin Phillips; and his great grandchild Rowan Sillanpaa.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in Bob's honor.
