She is survived by: her husband William N. Pickering; her children, Brenda A. Sides (Buford) of Chantilly, VA and Karen L. Kamiyama (Pat) of Fairfax, VA.; her siblings, Joyce Yancey of St. Petersburg, FL and Jerry Yancey of Fort Mill, SC; her grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Michelle Kamiyama and Taylor Sides; and her great grandchildren, Maddy and Izzy Kamiyama.
