She was predeceased by: her husband Stanton R. Colbert; and her parents, Frank Carter and Nancy Carter. She is survived by: her children, Charity R. Johnson (Mark) of Bristow, VA, Carter L. Loar (Dori) of Jeffersonton and Carrie N. Schalkofski (Patrick) of Fredericksburg; her sister Tonya Horton (Danny) of Haymarket; her grandchildren, Alexis, Matthew, Jade, Brianna, Andrew, Ryan, Carter Jr., Addison and Parker; her great grandchildren, Bentley and Clayton; and her nephews, Dallas and Miles Horton.
