She was predeceased by: her spouse Smith Severn Somerville; her daughter Leigh Somerville; her parents, Ruth Payne and Robert Payne; her brother Robert Payne, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Dawn Harms Rutledge.
She is survived by: her son Jim; and her grandchildren, Frank Eaton of Chapel Hill, NC, Severn Eaton of New York, NY, Randolph Rutledge of Dunn-Loring, VA and Emily Rutledge of Dunn-Loring, VA. She is also survived by her four great grandchildren.
