He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Swanson and Elmer Darby. He is survived by: his stepfather Kermit Swanson; his sister Jean Hunt; his parents-in-law, Bruce and Vivian McMillon; his wife Melinda; his daughters, Melody Hackney (Donn), Jacki Gordon (Scott) and Jonna Larkin; his grandchildren, Ben Hackney, Vivian Kazee (Jesse), Megan Gordon, Charlotte Larkin, Darby Gordon and Max Larkin; his great grandchild Cooper Benjamin Kazee; and his brother Dean Swanson. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
