She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Cox; her parents, Mildred Putnam and Clifton Putnam; and her niece Tammy Simpson. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Ritchie (Rob) of Bealeton, VA, Susan Cox (Susan) of Greensboro, NC and John A. Cox (Jennifer) of Beaver, WVA; her sisters, Jane Williams (Ralph) of Bellevue, FL, Linda Payne (David) of Winchester, VA, Donna Frederick (Robert) of Manassas, VA and Hope Chang (Larry) of Haymarket, VA; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Lanning (Peter) of Belleville, Joshua Couick of Bealeton, VA and Chasey Mullis of Yadkinville, NC; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Hamby, Christopher, Skyler and Victoria Lanning. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
