The memory of Glenn Thomas Palmer of Warrenton, Virginia, born in Bethesda, Maryland, who passed away on October 12, 2024 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Palmer and Loraine Palmer of Maryland; his grandparents, Thomas and Bessie Carper of Orange Va; his close friend Pearl Markley; and his son Derrick Palmer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darleen Sowers of Quinton, Tammie and Brenda Hayes of City; his grandson Charles Cornell-Hayes of Hopkins, SC; his daughter Kelly Palmer (Georgianna D. Hayes) of Statesville Va; his stepdaughter Kathy Markley of Manassas Va; and his cousins, Virginia Larigey of Warrenton Va, Ellen Mallett of Elkton Va, Arthur Tanchak of Nokesville Va, Omajean Bogle of Marion Va, Shirley Borgenson of Edgewater Md, Raymond Hawkins, Ralph Hawkins, Lena Flanders and Jon Norris.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Warrenton Moose Lodge (6415 Colonial Rd, Warrenton, VA 20187).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Fauquier County Fire and Rescue.
