She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchell Heflin and Cynthia Sutphin Heflin; her husband Marvin Putnam; her children, Albert Putnam and Beverly Barr; and her grandsons, John Putnam and Michael Barr.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenny Putnam (Marie), Ronnie Putnam (Janie) and Ricky Putnam (Karen); her children-in-law, Lonnie Barr and Betty Putnam; her sister Dorothy Stanton; her grandchildren, Chris Putnam, Sarah Curry, Steven Barr, Melissa Whitmer, Nathan Harrison, Bryan Harrison, Stevie Settle and Lisa Cubbage; her great grandchildren, Lincoln Putnam, Mackenzie Putnam, Noah Putnam, Nathaniel Curry, Kasside Barr, Hunter Barr, Nick Putnam, Haley Whitmer, Amanda Hamm, Bayliegh Cubbage and Amy Harrison; her grandchildren, Kristen Yancey, Kaitlyn McKaige, Kenzie McKaige, Dana Settle and Michael Settle; her great great grandchildren, Jerimiah Hamm, Kaydence Yancey, Dale Yancey III and Carter Cameron; and her great grandchildren, Dennis Whitmer, Ben Curry, Krystal Barr, Cathy Putnam, Heather Putnam and Jerry Hamm.
Mrs. Putnam worked with food service at the Airlie Foundation and attended Warrenton Baptist Church.
