He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia A. Zinn; and his brother-in-law Marvin Grooms, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughter Olivia Gagne; his sister Roxanne Grooms; and his granddaughter Jordynn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions take the form of a donation to the American Diabetes Association.
