It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Alvin Bailey Sr. of Warrenton, Virginia, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hubert Bailey and Anna Mae Bailey; and his son Carl "Butch" A. Bailey II. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Bailey; his siblings, Margaret Clemson and Steve Bailey; his children, Patricia Ann Warren (Louie), James Thomas Bailey (Julie) and Dr. Rebecca Bailey; his grandchildren, Andrea Whorton Jeffrey (Robert-"Tater"), Jamie Payton (Lee), Joshua Warren (Genna), Kiersten Bailey, Jessica Rhoads and Nellie Escorcia (Jose); his great grandchildren, Gavin Robertson, Abby Payton, Emelia, Bennett Warren, Colton, Cameron, Cailin Bailey, Miranda, Adam Rhoads, Yanina and Flavia Escorcia; and also Charlotte. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can me made to Fauquier Parks Foundation, 320 Hospital Dr, Warrenton, VA 20186.
