He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mattingly and Hilda Mattingly (Watts); his wife Florence E. Mattingly; and his siblings, Dale Mattingly, Joan Lehman, Kenneth Mattingly, Shirley Nickerson, Martha Fischer and Brenda Garber.
He is survived by: his children, William F. Mattingly (Ann), Karen A. Mesick (Scott), Kathryn A. Mattingly (Glenn Wehar) and Robert D. Mattingly (Marina Volpe); his grandchildren, Andrew Mattingly, Austin Mesick, Catherine Bailey, Kristin Martin, Elizabeth Thacker, Lorenzo Mattingly, Michelle Mattingly and Luca Mattingly; his great grandchildren, Greyson Mesick, Parker Mesick and Teighan Bailey; and his siblings, Allen, Dennis, Roy, John Mattingly, Sharon Connelly, Linda Pistachio, Gloria Turbyne, Debrah Majkut, Theresa Mayor, Anna Braithwaite, Mary Carol Gisoldi and Leona Butler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
