He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Tilford McDaniel and Ethel Louise McDowell McDaniel; his daughter Kay McDaniel Ryder; his son-in-law Rex G. Ryder; and his great grandchild Raelyn Gray Ryder.
He is survived by: his wife Althea Rene Williams McDaniel; his son Donnie McDaniel of Mountain Grove; and his brother Larry Joe McDaniel (Shirley) of Tonto Basin, Arizona. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
